Just got a e-mail from a ridin' buddy

"Lenny - I was out at CR this afternoon and when we returned to the truck about 4:00pm someone had broken out the back window and stolen a bunch of our stuff. (tools, camera, clothes, shoes, eyeglasses and cash) We both feel like fools for leaving certain items in the truck but it was probably just a unforntunate incident.

We have both visited the GR area for many years but now wonder if we'll ever come back! We did report the theft to Deputy Newland.

With the possibility of looking even more stupid, what is CR?

I'm thinking GR- Green River area?

I was out there on Sunday Lenny and when we came back after our second ride there was a lone 4 wheeler near the truck and I was immediately suspicious. I burned it over to the truck and he was a mile away before I got there but nothing was missing. He was just one guy, no helmet or gear, and from what I could see it didn't look like he was on a trail at all.

The only other people we saw were two pairs of hunters and a white box van with a couple dirt bikers.

Actually, it would be nice if you could shoot them somewhere they would be able to still dig. Being lazy, I would like them to dig their own hole, I mean I would still obviously have to fill it in, but thats a lot easier...just sayin.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, but along the same lines, Ryan (aka russell3) had his whole bike stolen last week. I have been trying to think of a way we could help him out. It was a cr500.
