Hey fellas, there are 4-5 of us planning to head down to St. George this weekend from Hill AFB, UT. Time to dust off the bike. The plan is to get down there Fri and ride till we die on Sat...then drive back home Sat night. Anyways, one of the guys has been around the area, but I was wondering if anyone would like to be a trail guide. We sure would appreciate it.
Also, is there an MX track in St. George? does it have lights? I'd love to get a track ride in also if possible.
Thanks, and let me know if you need any more info.

The race is on the 27th. Because you're not supposed to know the course before the race, racers are not allowed in the area 15 days prior to the race.

There is no MX track in SG, but there is in mesquite. No lights though. On such a tight time frame, you will not make it but maybe next round. I rode there a week ago and it was sweet.
Warner Valley is a great deal of fun to ride!

There are two of us going down to St. George on Saturday. We have a local "guide" to show us around. Supposedly a better location then Warner Valley. We could fit another person or two in the truck to share gas. Leave SL and Utah valley on Saturday around 6am get back around 10pm.

It rained all day saturday and again this morning. Warner Valley sand will be good but the trails will get beat up and rutted if you ride the clay parts which there are alot of. The road from the west going into Warner are rutted and muddy with puddles.
And if you are planning on racing the Rhino you can't be riding around on the course for 2 weeks before the race.

Where is this place thats supposed to be better? I have a new knobie and a mud/wetsand ride sounds sweet! we plan to ride Sand Hallow fri for a few hours and then set camp somewhere up near trailhead of Warner Valley. But it would be fun to ride as a group, so we might be down for meeting up Sat. Can you provide a link or map to area you guys are talking about? We've never done any riding down there so I'm sure any thing we ride will be fun!
