So I go to the front of the house, onto the porch, and knock on the front door. No one answers, so I knock again. I thought that I heard a sound on the other side of the door, but still no answer. On each side of the door are windows with sheer curtains that are closed. I look through the curtains into the front room of the house and I see what I thought was an old woman dressed in a white robe or maybe a white dress. She crosses the room from one end to the other. I could not see her very well, but I got the impression that she was old; yet there was something strange about the way she moved. I thought that maybe it was the mother or grandmother of the owner of the house, and that she did not want to answer the door. I was going to knock again when I got this creepy feeling that spooked me so bad that I hurried off the porch, down the driveway, into my truck and I drove away.
A few days later I called my dealer on the phone to make sure he was home before I went back to the house. When I got there, I met him in front of the house and I told him that I was there a few days earlier, and that his mom or someone was home but would not come to the door. He looked at me and said that what I saw was “the ghost.” He then went on to tell me that the house was well known for being haunted. There is still a small building on the property that many years ago had been used as a jail. He took me into the house and told me the history of the home, and how people had been killed there.
It would take too long to tell everything about the house here on MotoUtah, but I will tell you that shortly after that happened, the owner became very sick. He told me that the doctors did not know what was wrong with him. Was it the house that was making him ill?
I don’t know if I believe in ghosts, but I know I saw something in that house that scared me!

I knew in the 1st paragraph you were talking about Todd Braithwaite, Performance Cycle and the house he bought in AF. Kris Papworth used to work for him and did quite a bit of work in Todds house. He can tell you some pretty hair raising experiences that happened to him in that house.

Golden - creepy. I had an experience almost exactly the same as this one you describe. Freaky.It's creepy in one sense and kind of a confidense builder in another. Who we are is more powerful than a big scary ghost! The one guy said these stories get exagerated but the truth is it was much more intense as it happened and my story was toned down for MU.

Thats one of the places...as a matter of fact that was were I saw the women walk by in the merror and was asked to leave.. The home I live now the previous owner died in.. a long time ago I swear I saw her sitting in the bath tub and every once in awhile I'll be sitting on my couch and smell perfume.. my wife thinks it's my late mother in-law, but, I smelled it long before she ever died..
I have a digital record that i have played with in several locations, Almost everytime i get something.. try it some time when your alone.. it's very interesting what you get, no matter where you are!

The penny farling inn has little kids running around.. freaky!!

Don't be scared of this stuff.. it's people that are dead that are either trying to contact you or there playing with you.. but some times I think there just not happy where there at..or there just having a hard time trying to communicate and they lash out..

Officers responded to a call in the Uintah Mountains years back about a human sacrifice that was reported. Upon arrival was the word "Baby" freshly carved in a quakie tree and an arrow pointing to the ground where fresh digging had occurred. This was about 50 feet from a lake. The report received was that about 10 people were dressed in red robes and one small child in white. They were seen at approximately midnight and chanting of some sort was heard. It was believed to be a satanic ritual where a child was sacrificed, then buried in a shallow grave where the offense was committed. A child was unearthed. I will not go into further detail about the incident.

The interesting thing about this is that you can go to the exact place this happened and it is colder in that location, but only in approximately a 10 foot diameter. Even more interesting is that each year we receive calls from campers (who know nothing about the crime) stating they can here a small child crying during the night and saying "Mommy, Mommy". These calls are usually received around midnight. Sad, but true.

That may explain why so many people go missing in the Unitas, the Bermuda triangle of UT!
